After going through vision therapy, the frequency and severity of my headaches and strain have greatly reduced. I also find that I am less sensitive to light, it is easier to maintain eye contact with people, and my eyes are not exhausted by the end of the day. I had struggled with busy environments, seeing rapid movement, and riding in cars since I was a teenager – but never knew it could be linked to vision problems. I now am less sensitive and anxious in these situations. Thank you to the Wow Vision Therapy staff for improving my quality of life and making it a pleasant treatment experience!
I’ve experienced amazing improvement and understanding of what was going on with my vision. I am more alert and confident and don’t hesitate to say what I need to say to make myself clear. I was made aware of where my vision issues are, and I am able to apply what I’ve learned in therapy to make my eyes work together.
It was fun coming to play all the games and activities that were planned out for me each time…Now that I’m at the end of therapy, I’m happy to say that I no longer require a prism. My symptoms no longer bother me, and if they ever do come back, I know how to deal with them better.
I’ve discovered a whole new world around me. The awe I have for everything 3-D (trees, stairways, boardwalks, hallways, my hands typing on a keyboard) is a gift, which I hope I never take for granted. Most people – including my student – now seem to be able to tell when I am looking at them, and that makes teaching a lot easier.
