What I Enjoy Most About Working at Wow Vision Therapy
I most enjoy getting to know each patient and walking alongside him or her to assist in reaching their potential. My passion for prevention fits very well at Wow Vision Therapy, as improving vision positively affects so many areas in a person’s future. It is rewarding to see the confidence and joy that results from treatment at Wow Vision Therapy. With this, patients can easily pursue their unique gifts and talents.
A Little More About Me
This position is also a wonderful fit for my experiences and training; I am a licensed master’s level social worker (MSW) and have previously worked in literacy, early childhood development, early childhood mental health, domestic violence prevention, and child welfare. I had the opportunity to live in West Africa for a few years, which was a valuable cross-cultural experience.
My Interests Outside of Work
In addition to working at Wow Vision Therapy, I teach a social work class at Cornerstone University every other year. I enjoy spending time with my family, doing yoga, bike riding on the White Pine Trail, singing with a group from my church, reading good novels, and enjoying Lake Michigan.
