Jamie Jacobs, O.D.
RESIDENT - ST. JOSEPH
Dr. Jamie Jacobs was diagnosed with strabismus (eye turn) at an early age. Her time as a patient in vision therapy, both as a child and an adult, made a positive impact on her life, and it inspired her to pursue a career in optometry and binocular vision. She hopes to use her own experience to understand her patient’s struggles better.
She grew up in New Carlisle, Ohio, near Dayton. She attended Wright State University where she majored in biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2018 where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development
In her free time, Dr. Jamie loves spending time outdoors, including snow skiing, camping, hiking and swimming to name a few. She is always looking for a new adventure.
